This month’s First Friday exhibit features art by Brian Oh. The Deer series explores the imbalance between humans and nature and will be on display for the months of October and November.

Oh is a filmmaker and visual artist who has lived and worked in Brooklyn for the past 16 years. Moving fluidly between film and visual art, he gravitates toward thresholds where belonging and displacement converge. Through this process, he seeks images that reveal how origin, identity, and meaning are never fixed, but continually reshaped.

Along with Oh’s work on display, we’ll have a DJ from BierWax spinning tunes for the opening. Come take in the art and music with us!
