This Fourth of July weekend, the Port of New York and New Jersey will host the world’s largest tall ships flotilla as part of the Sail4th celebration — and we’re hoping to catch some of the action!

July 3 starting at 1 pm

Sail4th 250 Parade of Sail — Class B Tall Ships East River Class B tall ships from around the world will sail down the East River from Hell Gate Bridge to Gravesend Bay, Brooklyn. While not on the official route, we’re anticipating being able to see some of the ships from our patio as they head to Gravesend later in the afternoon.

July 4 starting at 9:30 am

Sail4th 250 Parade of Tall Ships — More than 30 tall ships from around the world will sail up the Hudson River from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge. We anticipate them passing by Strong Rope around 10:30 am, but we’ll be open starting as early as 9 am with a breakfast food truck and drink special! There will also be an international aerial review with the Blue Angels in the morning.

For the Fourth of July, we’ll be accepting limited outdoor table reservations from 9 am-12 pm for the Parade of Tall Ships. Table reservations are $250 and come with seating for up to 6 (standing room for 15), a pitcher, a four-pack, and merch. If interested, please fill out our Parties and Reservations form.
