After 10 unforgettable years, we’ll be closing the doors of our Gowanus taproom at the end of the month. Our Red Hook taproom is here to stay, and we’re excited to keep pouring and gathering with you there.

4.3% ABV - Tasty and clean little blonde ale, with cracker and light biscuit notes backed up by a clean hop finish.

6.8% ABV - Classic IPA with notes of pine, resin, citrus, and lemon balm, firm bitterness.

5.5% ABV - Soft pine aromas on a biscuit and toast malt body with a subtle hint of caramel, clean, and dry finish.

5.0% ABV - Our original cream ale returns with Renewal! Soft on the palate with a delicate malt and hop profile, it is an easy drinking pleaser.

4.4% ABV - Our annual beer done for Women's History Month gets a new look with this light and refreshing farmhouse Grisette featuring Lychee puree to push a tangy and floral aroma and flavor.

4.5% ABV - Light and snappy with a clean floral and herbal aroma, backed by a crisp bread malt backbone. A balanced dry finish.

4.6% ABV - Floral hop with notes of lemon rind and fresh pine needle on pale, bready malt, satisfying bitter finish.

5.0% ABV - Brewed with flaked corn and Prohibition heirloom hops for a light crispy body, citrus, and zippy finish.

6.4% ABV - Juicy! Bursting with nectarine and bright peach flavors, notes of berries and melon.

6.0% ABV - The one beer to start it all. J.J. Bollerack's Brown Ale is a journey through a blend of malts that creates layered notes of chocolate, biscuit, and toffee to our classic Brown Ale.

We do not have an in-house kitchen, but sometimes feature local pop-ups. Please check our events calendar for the latest offering.
You are also welcome to bring your own or order delivery from one of our great local spots including, Dinosaur BBQ, Union Street Pizza, PDA Pizza, Nene's Taqueria, and Baba’s Pierogies.

Yes! We serve New York state wine, cider, spirits, and a canned cocktail. In the winter, we serve hot toddies.
We also have a variety of sodas, seltzers, kombuchas, hot tea, and a non-alcoholic cocktail available.

Yes, we offer both private and semi-private events, as well as table reservations. Please see our private events page for more information.

No-fee group reservations are available for up to 30 guests. We’re happy to book these up to one month in advance! For more info or to submit an inquiry, head to our Reservations page.

We do not have on-site parking. Street parking is available, please check signs for hours/availability. We encourage using public transportation as much as possible.

Yes, well-behaved children and pets are always welcome!
Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Absolutely no running is allowed on Strong Rope Brewery property. Be sure to check the game shelf for lots of options to entertain.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Water bowls and treats are available, just ask the beertender.

Yes! We’ve got four packs of select styles ready to go in our coolers. Swing by any time we’re open for beer to go.

Yes, our entrance is accessible and we have an ADA bathroom.
